Sometimes, not all sessions go exactly as planned.  Especially when a head strong one year old is involved.  However, we can still work with it.  This session was supposed to be a maternity session focusing on mommy and daughter. BUT someone else had some other ideas.  Little Ava wanted no parts of it - she wanted to be the star of the show.  Not a problem for me because she is such a beautiful little girl, I was happy to photograph her and her spunky personality.

Meaghan, I know you are anxious to see what came out of the shoot, but have no worries :)  Here are a few to hold you over!

summer is coming

ok ladies....I don't usually do this unless it is something I truly believe in... BUT, since a lot of my clients are new moms trying to get rid of that baby weight, I feel like I am letting you in on a little secret.

After I had Logan, I was struggling to get back in shape...then I met Lorraine.  She is a personal trainer - and an awesome one at that! After seeing what great shape she was in, I hired her for 10 sessions. Since then, I have become addicted, but that is another story.  Let me tell you, it was the best investment I have ever made (except for my camera :). I am now back to my pre-pregnancy size BUT in way better shape.

the third newborn on Saturday...and the toughest :)  This little guy did not want to go to sleep!  He is a little older than I normally photograph newborns - I believe he was about 6 weeks. So he was way beyond his "sleep through anything" phase.  However, with a little patience and perseverance - he was under my spell :)

 

thanks for hanging in there, guys. I know Dad was bored and wanted to leave, but I promise it will be worth it when your old and gray and look back at these photos!

the second of my three newborns from Saturday.  Again, such a sweet baby and a sweet couple.  Makes life a lot easier :)  This little guy - and I mean *little* - slept through almost the entire session.

Yesterday was crazy!  I had three newborns in a row - Zane, Kane, and then Zain - what are the chances?  All three families were soooo nice to meet and hang out with.  Thank you all for making my long day a fun day :)

Here is the first Zane...and what a cool family.  Mom totally "got it" and was up for just about any and everything. 

I will post sneak peeks of the others - I promise.  But for now I need some more coffee....
